Second Next-Gen Xbox

Codenamed Lockhart, a second, cheaper and less power next-gen Xbox console by Microsoft. It is designed to have many keys from next-gen developments from Xbox Series X and provide with lower price for gaming at 1080p and 1440p. It can be used to test games and do validation checks by developers. Since 1080p and 1440p are the most popular resolutions used for PC gaming, Microsoft can position Lockhart for those.

Microsoft has not acknowledged this console yet but it is accessible in the Xbox One Operating System with references to Anaconda and Dante. If Microsoft does not cancel Lockhart it is going to be released with Xbox Series X and most probably it will be Xbox Series S which can be shown as a reason for why Microsoft trademarked Xbox Series branding.

This console is will show how the company will price the next generation consoles. Microsoft has committed that they will provide an Xbox All Access subscription for Xbox Series that will include Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass, a bundle that includes a console for a monthly fee. Microsoft’s Xbox chief Phil Spencer has talked in a Game Lab Live keynote and said “ Xbox All Access is going to be critical to both our launch for Xbox Series X as well as just the overall generation “ earlier this week.

Currently, the company provides an Xbox One S All Digital Edition subscription that has Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for a monthly fee $19.99. It can be said that Microsoft will offer this console in a similar way to charm people for the other subscription offerings. And beside this, we will see Project xCloud game streaming technology with Xbox Game Pass in this year.
