Confirmed: Next Call of Duty game will be Black Ops IIII (4) and it will come out earlier than expected

So it is official now.

After a couple of speculations and weird title design it is now official (kind of at least) that the next Call of Duty game for 2018 will be Black Ops 4. Kotaku has reported recently that the title of the next Call of Duty would be Black Ops IIII and the release date was pretty sooner than what we had expected.

The game will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC and it will be out on Friday, October 12th. This date indicates that the game will be out more than a month sooner than the expected date. The game will be developed by Treyarch which is the studio behind all other Black Ops games.

Unfortunately, we do not have any official information about the next title. But we know that there would be a special event on May 17th to showcase and present the next Black Ops game. As for the actual logo of the game, they made it out of a modified logo of Call of Duty: Black Ops III and made it CoD: Black Ops IIII instead of calling it IV (read it), the number which is commonly used on watches and clocks. Along with these informations, the old title Black Ops III has received a surprise update and it probably teases the upcoming game.

We will keep an eye on this title and let you guys know when we hear something from Activision.

Stay tuned for more!
