Helldivers 2 is adding the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond on October 20, with a loadout built around sniping, long-range firepower and concealment. The pack introduces two weapons, two stratagems, a tactical throwable, two armor sets and matching cosmetics.
Scope of Authority weapons and stratagems
The R-40 Sightliner is a bolt-action primary sniper rifle with armor-piercing rounds and an emphasis on long-range precision. Its close-quarters counterpart is the P-44 Mist, a one-handed machine pistol intended to help players escape when enemies close the distance.
Two heavier options arrive as stratagems. The AMW-20 Apex is a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload, while the LAS-44 Nova fires a precise, non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge and uses the energy weapon family’s infinite-ammo system. The G-11 Caltrops throwable scatters proximity-detonated submunitions that slow and stun targets.
Camouflage armor and Stationary Shroud
The SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor uses a ghillie-suit-inspired design, accompanied by the Mimetic Mesh cape and player card. The SS-15 Focal Point medium armor takes a more direct tactical look with adaptive camouflage and an asymmetrical visor, paired with the Boundary Banner cape and card.
Both sets carry the Stationary Shroud passive, which reduces weapon sway and detection range while the player is crouched or prone. The Warbond also includes the Manual Ballistic Projection emote and the Longshot player title.
Scope of Authority follows September’s Ironclad Democracy Premium Warbond. As detailed in the official announcement, the new Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock.
