Helldivers 2 Ironclad Democracy Warbond Deploys September 22

Helldivers 2 will add the Ironclad Democracy Premium Warbond on September 22, bringing three weapons, two grenades, two armor sets and a new armor passive built around resisting knockdowns and collision damage.

According to the official PlayStation Blog announcement, the weapon lineup starts with the AR-11 Arbitrator, a rapid-fire assault rifle equipped with an underslung shotgun. The GL-15 Evictor is a pump-action grenade launcher with a manual single-round reload, while the P-34 Breacher is a secondary missile pistol that fires sticky, phosphorus-fueled projectiles designed to break through armor.

The Warbond also introduces the G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker, a grenade-delivery drone that follows its user before homing in on a nearby target. The G-8 Immolation trades an explosive blast for an area of fire.

Ironclad Democracy armor and boosters

Two armor sets are included. The lightweight BFM-16 Tanker draws inspiration from the armored cavalry of the First Galactic War, while the heavy BFM-220 Ironclad is described as being made from surplus hull plating.

Both use the new Blunt-Force Mitigation passive. It makes Helldivers harder to knock off their feet, reduces impact and collision damage by 30%, and provides a higher armor rating.

Ironclad Democracy’s two boosters support different squad setups. Integrated Extinguishers reduces the time needed to put out flames, including fires caused by friendly fire. Surplus EAT Allocation grants two free uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank Stratagem per mission, providing enough single-use rocket launchers for a four-player squad when distributed evenly.

The remaining unlocks include the Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of the Juggernaut capes and matching player cards, the Helmet Durability Check emote, and the Treadhead title. Three tank-exclusive patterns—Verdant camouflage, Glacial polymer and Executive onyx—are also included, marking a first for a Premium Warbond.

Ironclad Democracy follows a long line of themed equipment packs, including the Truth Enforcers Warbond. Unlocking the new items requires the Helldivers 2 base game, Super Credits and game progression.
