Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been Announced

Finally, after talking about it dozens of times, Rockstar has revealed Grand Theft Auto Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. It consists of three popular titles from the GTA franchise, those being Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas.

This edition of the trilogy will release for PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It is planned that it will release later this year. We will be receiving the mobile ports next year as well.

These remastered titles “will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.”

For now, we don’t know if these three titles will be released as one or separately. We will receive more details as time goes on. Honestly, this announcement alone makes me so excited, and I’ll be looking forward to seeing the new versions of the old-school games that have a place in most people’s hearts. The current versions of these three games will be removed from digital stores next week.

This announcement is more like a relief for the fans since people have been complaining more and more about the fact that Rockstar repeatedly remastering GTA V. At the end of the day, it’s still a remaster rather than a new game in the franchise, but we are talking about GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas here, am I right?
