Alan Wake Remastered Has Been Announced

Alan Wake’s complete remaster has been announced by Remedy, and it’s releasing sooner than you might think. It will release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this Fall. One more thing that is exciting though, this could be a sign for an upcoming sequel title.

There were leaks of it going on since the last week, and now we have it. Remedy is in this job along with Epic Games, it’s also worth noting that the game will be available to PC through Epic Games Store. This remastered version will be arriving with the original game’s two expansions and will feature 4K resolution.

Sam Lake has shared his thoughts at The Sudden Stop, saying “This is for you.” He mentions that the game is in an almost complete state, and will come in with the partnership of Epic Games Publishing. “The remaster is coming because of your support for Alan Wake through the years.”

At some point, Remedy did try to develop Alan Wake 2 but faced difficulties. With Control’s debut, seems like they’re even more interested in making the dream come true. There are also claims of Alan Wake 2’s development going on, but we shall see it in the future. But oh boy, a sequel for Alan Wake would be GREAT.
