Halo Infinite will have a cross-play and cross-progression feature, as Microsoft states, the cross-progression will be across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. As for PC, the feature will be available on Microsoft Store and Steam platforms.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be free, which is something great. Also, this move about cross-play and cross-progression features has been described as “building communities around games, not devices” on Xbox Wire.

The game will also have well-known PC features like advanced video settings, ultrawide and super ultrawide display support, and more. This is some great news and it shows that Microsoft is interested in making a game with a wide range of players.

Halo Infinite, after its announced delay, has been set for a Fall 2021 release. Developer 343 seems like they aren’t taking this job as a joke, they focus on it and use their resources as much as possible.
