We Could Get a New Silent Hill Game
There is a theory about how multiple Silent Hill projects could be working on by some third-party developers at the moment.
In their interview with GamesIndustry.biz Blobber Team reported that they are working on “another horror IP”. But the exciting part is they said this game has a “very famous publisher.” Fans think that they could be working on some Silent Hill project.
Blobber Team’s CEO Piotr Babieno said “(We’ve) been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we’re doing this with a very famous gaming publisher. I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited.” in the interview with GamesIndustry.biz.
It’s also told that Konami gave a Silent Hill project to a Japanese developer and it will be revealed this Summer. We aren’t sure yet, but this could be the project that Blobber Team is working on.
None of these are confirmed yet but it is a high possibility. And there are some other rumors poking around. Silent Hill’s composer Akira Yamaoka said “You’ll probably hear something this Summer to be announced. It’s the one you’re kinda hoping to hear about.” But sadly this interview got taken down on Youtube.
