SNK Builds A Brand New Console For 2021
After Nintendo’s hugely successful NES and SNES mini, retro consoles are very popular these days. However, a retro company seems to be interested in building something entirely new. SNK announced on Twitter that it will build a brand new console for 2021.
SNK released a NeoGeo Mini in 2018 featuring several of the company’s most popular games, including entries in the King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, and Metal Slug series. However, it is not clear what exactly SNK is selling here, but the WiFi symbol on W in the teaser image seems to indicate it will include some kind of multiplayer connection. Last year, SNK stated that NeoGeo Mini will be followed by a next-generation NeoGeo, and it looks like this console could be.
