Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC Takes You to Ireland and Paris

Ubisoft announced the roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, which takes place beyond the shores of England, as well as the season pass and post-launch support, which includes an expedition tour and free season updates.

The Valhalla season ticket consists of two expansions and a special mission. The Legend of Beowulf is a quest offered to season pass owners on release day and will discover the terrible truth behind the Beowulf legend. The first expansion, Wrath of the Druids, will be available in the spring of 2021 and will take place in Ireland as Eivor pursues a druid cult. The second expansion, due in the summer of 2021, is called The Siege of Paris, allowing players to relive the most ambitious war in Viking History while infiltrating the walled city of Paris.

Those who haven’t purchased the season pass will still have access to a variety of free post-launch updates that will come during the seasons. The first, starting in December, will add a new settlement area, a Yule Festival, a new replayable River Raids event and new player skills and abilities, weapons and gear, and cosmetics for your settlement, longship, horse, and raven. Additionally, a ranking system will be added for your Jomsviking, an NPC lieutenant that you can create yourself or even recruit from your friends and community.

The second season has not yet been fully detailed but will begin in March 2021 and a new mode will be added, updating the Jomsviking system, and adding new festivals and gear. Ubisoft also stated that the third and fourth seasons are also coming. Discovery Tour, a conflict-free training mode previously added to Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey, will also be added to Valhalla in 2021.
