Install Size Of Some Of PS5 Games Revealed
Some PS5 games’ install sizes have been unveiled. The Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition requires 105 GB, Demon’s Souls for 66GB, and Insomniac’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for 50 GB.
We know that PS5 comes with a custom 825GB SSD at launch. PS5 will reduce this overall setup footprint by allowing you to install certain parts of the games. But the console’s internal storage can be expanded with an off-the-shelf SSD, without requiring proprietary drives from Sony. It should also be kept in mind that in the short term at least, you don’t need to buy an NVMe drive without Sony validation if you want to use it in PS5. Moreover, PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives are likely to be very expensive. But all these things are told in the short term, prices will go down by time.
Install sizes of games that we talked about at the beginning of our article don’t seem too big when we think about bigger games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Nevertheless, if you depend on the internal storage of the PS5, it will fill up sooner or later.
