Fallout: New California is an ambitious prequel to Fallout: New Vegas and its release date is announced

One of the most anticipated and ambitious mods of Fallout: New Vegas is going to introduce a huge background story for the title. The mod has been on development for almost five years now (since 2013) and recently the modders have announced the release date of it. As a huge Fallout fan, I couldn’t help but take a look at it of course.

The mod aims to take the player to a story of the original Fallout: New Vegas time line. It has 12 different ends and 16.000 voiced over dialogue lines. It is impressive right? Yes it is fellas. According to the modders, the main quest line is already finished but they still need some time to implement more side quests. This detail is enough for us to become crazy about the mod as it will introduce a five years worth of work and it will be impressive for sure. Still not convinced? The mod will be available on October 23rd for PC only and you will need the base Fallout: New Vegas game in order to play it. I can easily say that I’ll be one of the first players to test it when the time comes and I’m sure that you won’t be seeing me for a while. If you don’t want to wait that long, you can also subscribe for the beta testing period on July which will probably be available soon.
