Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal stream is over and here are all you need to know

The reveal event of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has ended and it contained many information about the upcoming Activision title. If you missed the live stream, don’t worry, we will try to cover all the important parts of it.

First and foremost, I should inform you guys that the game will now feature a classic campaign/story mode. Instead of that, there will be single player missions. These mission will reveal the background stories of each and every Specialist characters that the game offers. As the player progresses in these mission, it will reveal a part of the story.

These mission will take place in sometime between Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 3 time line. As well as the old specialists like Ruin, Seraph and Firebreak, the game will also introduce other new ones that we have seen on the event: Crash, Recon and Torque.

Moreover, the new title will also include a battle royale mode, Blackout. It is not a surprise to be honest if you consider how the late battle royale games have been successful. Activision aims to have the same success with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Time will tell if a new game will attract enough players or not.

In another news, we also learned that the game won’t be available on Steam but it will be exclusive to the Battle.net, just like Destiny 2. It means that you will not be able to play the game with your Steam friends as long as you don’t get a Battle.net account. This news is not so surprising as we had seen the same step about Destiny 2 and each and every day, Battle.net grows bigger and bigger. We do not know, however, how it will effect the sales of the game. It won’t? Yeah, probably…

Treyarch also revealed many details about the zombie mode which was expected to be implemented to this new title. this time, however, the mode will include a story instead of being a shooting gallery full of zombies. In this mode, you will travel in time and visit places like Titanic and Ancient Rome. These three trailers would explain better:

The zombie mode will also introduce new features like customization and mutations which will allow players to change the balance of each zombie filled level. The mutations will have effects mechanics like zombie speed, health and weapon damage and more.

These are all we know so far fellas. If you want to rewatch the event, you can go ahead and check out the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Twitch channel.

Stay tuned for more!
