An open world game with Lovecraft lore. This should be interesting.

“The Sinking City is a game of investigation and mystery taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft.” says Frogwares in their official website. The game is based on Lovecraft role and you will play as a 1920s private investigator in a city which lost its glory because of floods with supernatural origins. The city of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England needs your skills to solve the mystery behind its the unfortunate fate.

The main aspect of the game is a RPG – Adventure based system where you will get jobs and solve puzzles in order to understand what is happening in the city. In order to showcase the improvements of the game, Frogwares has recently released a dev’s diary kind of video.

If you are interested in a huge and ambitious game like this, you can check out the website to have more information. Unfortunately, we do not know if the game will be available for all the consoles out there or only for some of them. We will keep an eye on this one though so we should have more information soon.
