Rumor: Warcraft 3: Remastered might be coming and new patch is here

Join the hypetrain, the legendary RTS game Warcraft 3, which was released in 2002 recently received a new patch. Patch 1.29 coming hot with balance changes for heroes, and most importantly the game now supports 16:9 widescreen mode, and now has increased number of maps. The update is now live in the WC3 PTR.

But, this is not the only news for Blizzard’s beloved RTS, what is more exciting, in fact, Warcraft 3 has just received a new installer. This change made the community think that Warcraft 3 could be added into Blizzard’s Battle.net client, among World of Warcraft, Overwatch and more.Plus, Blizzard recently announced a Warcraft 3 invitational tournament. The tournament will be held Feb. 27-28. There will be some oldschool players such as ReMind, HawK, Tak3r and FoCus. Events will be streamed through Twitch.

Will Warcraft 3: Remastered be announced at the invitational? It’s clearly possible. Because Starcraft: Remastered was first announced at an event in Seoul, Korea.
