Fortnite: Battle Royale receives a new update and here are the details

It has been a short time since Fortnite: Battle Royale was released. And after the release, the game had a couple of important improvements. Recently, Epic Games announced that they would release another update which is called ‘2.3.0 patch’. It will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 25th, meaning tomorrow.

The update will end the Save the World’s Winter event, along with many other tweaks and improvements. They are not that many actually but they might be considered as important. The improvements are all about the gameplay and in-game mechanics. The accuracy of grenade arcs, for example, are improved. Also, the delay between throwing a grenade and switching to another weapon are reduced. In addition, player knockdowns will now be shown on Shadowplay Highlights. Haunted Hills will receive more loot spawn locations and players will be able to mute party members on the lobby screen.

The update will also bring an auto-run option, auto assist will can be turned off on PS4 and Xbox One and you can now get a new consumable, ‘Chug Jug’. This will grant you extra max health and shields when drank for 15 seconds. Last but not least, players will get any progress on stat or challenge points. Now you can get these if you leave the match after you’re eliminated or win.

Instead of the ending event, a new one will replace it. It will be called ‘Mutant Storms’ which would ring a bell for some of the players. More information can be found on the official website.

Enjoy your update fellas and stay tuned for more!
