Sony announced a new smaller controller for kids

Sony has recently announced on PlayStation Blog that they were working on a smaller controller. The main idea behind this is to get attraction from smaller kids. Along with its function, I should say that it looks kind of cute. Look at that thing!

“The Mini Wired Gamepad provides the essential functions to play most PS4 games while still providing a great gaming experience” says Anand Agarwal on the blog page emphasizing that there will be no performance losses. The controller will come with a 10ft long cable. However, it lacks other features like touch pad, light bar, stereo headset jack, speaker, vibration and motion sensing. The main function of this controller is, well, to be a controller and nothing more.

It will be available in USA and Canada during the Holiday season. And they will cost around $29.99 USD / $39.99 CAD.
