Divinity: Original Sin 2 will feature co-op playing, skill crafting and more

Divinity: Original Sin 2 will end its early access period on September 14th. And before that date, developers wanted to share a couple of new features which might be really interesting. Along with a video and a Kickstarter Developer’s Diary entry, we will be able to see these new features in detail.

One of the best thing about this game will be the possibility of playing with others. A co-op mode will be implemented to the game in order to let up to 4 players share the fun. As a really good RPG game, I personally think that this is a good improvement. RPGs were always fun when they are played with friends. And now you can do it as if you were playing a board FRP game in real life.

Additionally, the developers let people to craft their own skills. Combining different skills, magical and special items will result in unique skills and enhancements. For example, if you combine two different spell types you will get a different outcome. Combine water with necromancy and rain blood on your enemies! And this will be the same for rune crafting which will upgrade your weapons and gear. Go ahead and watch the fun video they made:

Nice video right? Good job Larian Studios. Really good job. I can say that I’m looking forward to play this jewel.

Until September 14th, we have to wait. As far as we know, the game will be available only for PC at first, then for consoles, probably after a couple of months. If you want to know more about the game, you can check out the developer’s diary on Kickstarter page.

Until we hear more from the game, enjoy the video and stay tuned for more!
