A game which promises a lot of loot.
Forgive me father for I have sinned; I am addicted to looting like moths are addicted to the flame. With Epic Games and People Can Fly‘s upcoming Fortnite, I will descend even more.
Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival video game which offers exploration, scavenging items, crafting weapons, building fortified structures, and fighting waves of encroaching monsters. Basically, we need to work with our friends in order to build a base and protect it from the Husks.
Building will be a core mechanic in the game, and there will be “a lot of loot” buried within. Players can build and edit each wall of their fort with a 3×3 grid, lay down stairs, roofs, and windows, sculpting them to suit a particular need.
This is why this game is called a mashup of Minecraft and Left 4 Dead. We can not call Fortnite as just a ‘building game’ for that matter, we can say that the game places importance on building yet there are many features it is offering alongside with it. Looting, for example, will be a huge part of the gameplay since we need materials in order to build our fort.
Fortnite is also a fun game to play, since developers think humor is a must in a game.
As we created the world of Fortnite, with its heroic moments and quirky sense of humor, we knew it would be important to have a mixture of veteran voices and exceptional new talent in order to connect the players to the game’s story. Just as we’ve built Fortnite with the players, we were honored to have a group of amazing performers become part of our community and to help us bring this brand new world to life.
Fortnite is now avaliable as a early-access title and if you like to give it a try by visiting here. I believe it will be a fun experience with friends.
Fortnite will hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018 as a full game. Stay tuned!
