With Morrowind Expansion, there comes a new class.
On June 6th, a new DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind will be available. Unlike the previous DLC, we will not be able to purchase Morrowind expansion with crown points, the expansion will be purchasable as a separate title.
Morrowind expansion will bring a new class, a new trial and a new a player vs. player mode, known as “Battlegrounds” to the game. As we’ve mentioned before, this new class is Warden.
Like nature itself, the Warden is an irresistible, chaotic force in battle, able to summon fierce animals, sprout healing plants from the ground, or cloak themselves and others in protective ice. The inspiration for the character’s design in part comes from traditional nature-based archetypes and in part from the Elder Scrolls’ Spinners – the Wood Elf priests of Y’ffre who use storytelling to preserve Bosmer culture.
To be honest, I always hesitate before starting an online game since they lack the depth of single player games in my point of view. Even though I enjoyed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim excessively and played it like a savage for years, I took my time before starting The Elder Scrolls Online. It just happened a few days ago and now I can not think of anything else.
With a new trailer which shows off the Warden class, ZeniMax Online and Bethesda once again earns our respect. While playing the Morrowind expansion, we will take a journey to Morrowind, the island of Vvardenfell. While we are enjoying the beautiful sights of Vvardenfell as a Warden, our combat ally War Bear will always be on our side. Our main quest is to save Morrowind by stopping a meteor from crashing into Vivec City by helping a demi-god regain his lost powers.
With the versatility to act as a damage dealer, a healer, or protector (or any combination in between) the Warden’s powerful and unique nature-based magic brings an entirely new element to ESO.
