Torment: Tides of Numenera – The Magic of Nanos

Nano, the master of knowledge.

Role-playing video game Torment: Tides of Numenera offers three base character classes: Glaive (warrior), Nano (wizard) and Jack (rogue). Nanos are the sorcerers of the Ninth World, as the trailer puts it.

If you choose to be a Nano, instead of being a Mage or Magic User, you will be a master of knowledge. You will be a master of ancient technology. Nanos use the Numenera to alter the reality.

After choosing the Nano class, you will be able to choose Scan Thoughts ability which gives you the advantage while in a conversation. Your weapon will be your words instead of your sword. Also, Nano class can fight and heal, if things get ugly. And of course, a mage’s best ability is available for Nanos: Conjuraton.
