…Both visually and musically. I was expecting the traditional, folk-inspired The Witcher melodies but there was a suprise: Head blowing distorted guitar riffs! (Hey there metalheads! Well, the song is not outright metal –but in a game trailer, hearing a distorted guitars and screams is a rare, soul-soothing encounter, doesn’t it?)
Do not get excited -like me- by the way, for we all got used to see launch trailers on the launch date. The expansion is still due to May 31st, CD Projekt Red did its thing again and relesed a launch trailer a week before the release date. Here you go:
The video (being also visually metal) emphasize the “dark side” of Toussaint. The contrast between the colorful face of this remote land and its dark secrets is the very thing that holds our excitement on the upper limits.
