A Great Lovecraftian Horror RPG is on Greenlight and It is Called Stygian
It looks great times are ahead of Lovecraft fans. First we heard of Call of Cthulhu game and now another Lovecraftian game, Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones hits our radar.
We know that lots of Lovecraft fans are also hardcore RPG gamers and it appears that the team behind Stygian, Cultic Games knows it, too because they are making a 3rd person horror RPG. Think of RPG gamers who are also Lovecraft fans making a Lovecraftian RPG game. In the recent years I was always looking for some old school stuff in RPG games as I was not getting the same pleasure I used to get: a good story that can make me sit in my good old chair for many hours, some good conversations with the NPCs, a turn based battle system in which I can apply my own strategies and some good music to create the atmosphere that can pull me in the game and make me forget the time. It seems to me that Stygian has it all.

Stygian is being crafted by designers who have grown up reading Lovecraft and playing Planescape: Torment, first Fallout titles, Heroes of Might and Magic and the likes.
Even this phrase is pulling me in. I can not wait to get my hands on this game. The Cultic games is just waiting for a Steam Greenlight. Do not forget to vote on this Steam page as this may turn into a nightmare you do not want to wake up from.
