Hard Times are Still Hovering Over The Division Cheaters

Well, The Division is famous with its bugs and cheaters since it went out. Ubisoft is trying hard and taking countermesures for honest players are fed up with cheaters. Now, Ubisoft going a little harder on cheaters and seems like it is working out.

Previously, we have informed you about Ubisoft is trying to find a way to punish the cheaters who are using the glitch which lets you pass through the walls. Ubisoft now has harsher penalties for cheaters. If you cheat and get caught, instead of 3 days suspension, you will get 14 days. But this only works if you get caught once. You cheat again, you will be banned for life. Ubisoft warned cheaters loud and clear as they described it.

First, we have implemented new cheat detection methods that have allowed us to identify many more players currently using cheat engines in the game. We have already caught more cheaters in the last few days than we had in total during the previous weeks. As a result, we will be handing out the biggest wave of suspensions and bans to date over the course of the next few days. 


Second, when cheaters are caught, we will now apply a suspension of 14 days on first offense (instead of the previous 3 day initial suspension). Second offense will always be a permanent ban. 


We anticipate these two changes will noticeably improve your experience. New upgrades on cheat detection are underway.


Seems like this new method to find cheaters is working for Ubisoft since they caught more cheaters lately than all the previous weeks combined. Along with that, Ubisoft has a list of bugs on public forum. If there is a bug, they investigate it for it is possible to use against honest gamers.
