Microsoft Confirms Game Mode for Windows 10

Previously, we have mentioned that Microsoft is working on a Game Mode for Windows 10 which will bring improvements to PC gaming experience.

We have mentioned that this mode will work similarly to the Xbox One version of running a game. And finally, Microsoft confirmed that this mode is indeed coming, yet we find the lack of detailed information disturbing.

“Our vision is for Game Mode to optimize your Windows 10 PC for increased performance in gaming. This is a big update for Windows; we’re looking forward to Insiders getting their hands on this new feature for further testing, and we’ll have much more to share on what it is and how it works soon, so stayed tuned.”

And about the most important question, they say that Game Mode will support Win32 and Universal Windows Platform games. So, the leaked news about this update would only support UWP games seems to come to an end now.

Creators Update for Windows 10 will launch in spring. We will be back with more detailed news. Stay tuned!
