The Elder Scrolls VI may be titled The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, with Bethesda potentially revealing the name in November 2026, according to a new report.

Tom Warren of The Verge reportedly expects any November announcement to focus primarily on the name rather than deliver a major gameplay presentation. Bethesda has not confirmed the Sentinel subtitle or announced an event for the reveal.

What the Sentinel report claims

The report also points to Hammerfell as the game’s setting and says the story will explore the series’ history alongside mysterious ancient artifacts. Those details remain unconfirmed and should not be treated as an official synopsis.

Bethesda first announced the project with a brief teaser at E3 2018. The studio has shared little publicly about the game since then, making even a title-only announcement a notable development if the report proves accurate.

Would a confirmed Sentinel title and Hammerfell setting be enough to make a November reveal worthwhile for you?
