Bruce Nesmith, a former Bethesda designer, shared his concerns about the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 in a recent interview. Despite high anticipation, Nesmith believes it will be “almost impossible” for the game to meet fan expectations due to the immense success of past Bethesda titles, especially Skyrim. He emphasized that while Elder Scrolls 6 is sure to be an excellent game, it will be compared to previous Bethesda classics, creating sky-high expectations that are hard to meet. Nesmith also noted that Bethesda faces the same challenge Larian Studios does after the success of Baldur’s Gate 3.
