Nintendo will stream two Nintendo Direct presentations on consecutive days next week, beginning with a dedicated The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary show on September 8.
The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct starts at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET and will run for approximately 30 minutes. Nintendo says the presentation will deliver a variety of information about the series, but it has not specified which games or projects will appear.
A general Nintendo Direct follows on September 9 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET. The 45-minute broadcast will focus on Nintendo Switch 2 games launching this winter. Nintendo will then host a roughly 110-minute Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation featuring gameplay from selected titles shown during the Direct.
The official September 9 Nintendo Direct stream is already scheduled on Nintendo of America’s YouTube channel.
The anniversary presentation arrives after Nintendo announced a Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time earlier this year. A recent retailer listing linked Monolith Soft to the remake, although Nintendo has not confirmed the developer.
