The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 open beta ends worldwide on Tuesday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. PT, giving players one final day to test its multiplayer, campaign and Warzone content before the servers go offline.
The deadline comes directly from the official Call of Duty Weekend Two schedule. Because the beta closes simultaneously across every region, the local date moves to Wednesday, September 2 in parts of Asia and Oceania.

- Mumbai: September 1 at 10:30 p.m. IST
- Tokyo: September 2 at 2:00 a.m. JST
- Sydney: September 2 at 3:00 a.m. AEST
- Auckland: September 2 at 5:00 a.m. NZST
Polygon also published a regional timing guide for players checking the closing window. The conversions above all refer to the same global cutoff of 5:00 p.m. UTC.
Weekend Two is open to all players without a preorder or beta code. Activision lists support for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Battle.net, Xbox on PC and Steam.
The test includes competitive multiplayer, the “Entrenched” campaign mission and Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence on the Zodiac map. Players can also work toward the beta’s level 30 reward tier until the closing time.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is being led by Infinity Ward and is scheduled to launch on October 23, 2026. The open beta is a limited test, so access to its playable content ends with the September 1 deadline.
