Horizon: Forbidden West Writer to Join The Fable Reboot Project
Andrew Walsh, a senior writer for Horizon: Forbidden West, announced on LinkedIn that he left Guerrilla Games in order to join Playground and take part in the upcoming Fable reboot project. This means that the world of PlayStation lost a writer while the world of Xbox gained one.
This is not the first time Walsh and Fable cross paths, however, as he has worked on a canceled co-op spin-off Fable game, Fable Legends. He worked for Lionhead Studios between the years 2013-2015.
Walsh is a pretty experienced writer, having worked on The Division 2, Watch Dogs Legion, and many more. His most recent work role was as the associate narrative director for Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
We don’t know when we will be getting the remastered Fable experience on our hands. It’s been a long run in terms of the development process, as it’s already been 2 years since the reveal of the project. This news also made things even more interesting. Well, we will see what happens next.
