Stardew Valley Now Has A Tournament, Making it an Esport Game

The creator of Stardew Valley, Eric Barone, has announced the Stardew Valley Cup, transforming this relaxing farming game into a game with competition, which is, surprising…

The Stardew Valley Cup will have four teams competing against each other, and these teams are Sandy’s Candies, Pam’s Yams, Pierre’s Cherries, and Krobus’ Crocuses. The cup begins on September 4th and each team will take their shot for the prize that goes up to $40,000.

Well, considering that Stardew Valley is pretty popular, sooner or later this was going to happen. As more and more good players come out a competition had to be there, and it’s finally here, with the collaboration of Unsurpassable Z, a content creator on YouTube that makes videos related to Stardew Valley. He shared the news on his YouTube channel as well.

Like we mentioned above, the popularity of Stardew Valley is growing every day, and it has been ported for consoles and mobile. Well, good luck to those who will compete, and don’t forget the most important thing: Have fun!
