CD Projekt Board Members and CEOs Will Receive Big Bonuses Despite The Issues With Cyberpunk 2077’s Release

Although Cyberpunk 2077’s release wasn’t the best it could be, CD Projekt CEOs and board members will receive huge bonuses that goes up to millions of dollars.

As for CD Projekt co-CEOs Marcin Iwiński and Adam Kiciński, they will be receiving an end-of-year bonus of 24 million złoty, which is approximately $6.3 million. Adam Badowski, CD Projekt board member and director of Cyberpunk 2077, will be getting $4.2 million in bonuses.

These shares are being decided with the CD Projekt’s own implemented system as explained in a Bloomberg report. Basically, 20% of the earnings are split up between staff members, 10% goes to the board of directors, and the other 10% will be going to employees.

These happen despite the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s be real though, although the game was removed from PlayStation Store at some point and of course, even when tons of refunds from furious gamers combined. I think it’s safe to say that 2020 has been CD Projekt’s best year.

CD Projekt knows what they have done and they say that Cyberpunk 2077 launch “has been a huge lesson for us that we will never forget.” Well, looks like we won’t be facing incidents like the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 from the side of CD Projekt in the future.
