Fans Don’t Understand How Ambitious The Game Was to Make, Cyberpunk 2077 Developer Says

We all know how the release of Cyberpunk 2077 was. Although it can be seen as a complete disaster, I’m sure a lot of people have enjoyed the game until the last moment. But it’s also worth mentioning that something could have been done to prevent all if not, some of these consequences. After all, things that happened, a developer at CD Projekt thinks that fans still don’t acknowledge how hard it was for CD Projekt to try and create Cyberpunk 2077 from the beginning.

in a live stream, Paweł Sasko, the lead quest designer of Cyberpunk 2077, has made some statements about the post-release phase of the game. He explains the situation as “What happened was that we have reached for a new IP and we have tried to learn as much as we can. Our goals have been super ambitious. I don’t really feel like the players and the journalists fully, completely understand how difficult it was to make this game.”

He proceeds to explain what he means to avoid complications, “I’m not saying that you guys should be giving us more credit for it. You should demand a fully functional, well-done game — and that’s your right,” he explained, then he goes on with the term ‘acknowledgment’. Saying that some people lack it when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077’s development.

The game must have been very difficult to make, in fact, some points Paweł made make sense. Therefore should be taken into consideration.
