There Could Be a Metal Gear Solid Event Coming Up!

We have some weird news about the Metal Gear Solid franchise. A Twitter user that goes by the name of Tom Olsen that is seemingly associated with Metal Gear Solid and maybe Konami made lots of posts that hint at an upcoming event. But there is still a possibility of this being a troll.

And according to the account, Tom Olsen is a person who works at Big Shell, the primary locale found within Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The account posted a bunch of Tweets that talk about how it feels like to work in the Big Shell etc. However, the last Tweet of the account is really weird. He says that an in-universe president from Metal Gear Solid 2 will be visiting Big Shell within the coming week. 

So you might ask why is this weird if you haven’t played the games. I’m not going to spoil it but let’s just say that game starts picking up when the president visits the Big Shell. So this could be something that is Konami doing in order to make an event for us.
