Microsoft is Trying to Buy Discord for Over $10 Billion!
Microsoft is in talks to purchase the Discord, the enormous voice chatting software for more than $10 billion US Dollars!
But these discussions are at a very early stage right now, so there is no imminent deal on the horizon. Some people even say that Discord may not sell itself and go public.
Also, Microsoft is only one of the potential suitors. Discord has been talking with Epic Games and Amazon too.
According to VentureBeat, Discord, the platform with almost 140 monthly users that recently raised $100 million at a $7 billion valuation, is trying to get a deal worth more than $10 billion USD.
The surprising part is Discord was the one who reached Microsoft for the deal. We thought that Microsoft would approach Discord for the purchase because recently they bought another big company and officially became the parent company of Bethesda.
