Report Shows After Silent Hill; Metal Gear Solid, and Castlevania Revivals Could Also Be in Development

We know after Konami licensing Silent Hill to a Japanese company, Bloober Team, who made The Medium, stated that they are working on a well-known game from “a very famous gaming publisher”, which brings the idea to our minds that a new Silent Hill game could be becoming.

“I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited.”

On top of this news, it looks like Konami is also planning to do the same with Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania series so other companies around the world can make the next games of both franchises.

The reason for this plan could be because of their latest games’ not-so-well reviews. It seems Metal Gear Survive and Condra: Rogue Corps didn’t do well enough to get good reviews, so Konami might be looking for other companies to develop games for their franchises.

We will see if this plan goes well. Konami drawing further away from developing games also could mark the end of an era for them, which will probably have an impact on the future of both series. Let’s just be patient and wait for the results.
