Silent Hill Composer Akira Yamaoka’s Interview Removed

Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka sparked fan hopes with a mocking video interview given to YouTube channel AlHub last night. Yamaoka said that he is working on a new project to be announced this summer and that this is the project we hope to hear.

The interview suddenly disappeared and AlHub made a statement about it.

AlHub does not mention who wanted the interview to be dropped.

Yamaoka has a career spanning dozens of games from Contra to World of Tanks and The Medium to Lollipop Chainsaw but is best known for his work on Silent Hill.

The composer has contributed to nearly every game in the series, starting with the original Silent Hill on PS1 in 1999 and until its latest official entry in 2012. Yamaoka has also appeared in these Silent Hill movies.
