Cyberpunk 2077 Breaks The Most Concurrent Player Record for Singleplayer Games

Cyberpunk 2077 has been released around 14 hours ago, and oh boy, that was a thing. Right after the release Steam store got into status ‘Bad Gateway’ which basically means it’s dead. The Steam store could not be accessible for a while after the release.

Anyways, back to the topic. After its release Cyberpunk 2077 had a peak of 1,003,264 concurrent players worldwide, surpassing the previous record holders for single-player games Fallout 4 with 472,962 players in 2015.

Not only players, but viewers also want to see Cyberpunk 2077 as well! Currently, it has the most viewers on Twitch with a peak of over a million. Right now Cyberpunk 2077 is rivaling Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at current player numbers. It already surpassed Terraria’s 489,886.
