Hunt: Showdown Patch 2.5 is live, new map will be revealed in Twitch Con and you can have it now for cheaper on Steam

We have news for Hunt: Showdown fans. It has been a quite while that we are pretty interested in this game and we try to keep you updated whenever we hear news from Crytek. Since we have a couple of good news about the game, we have decided that it would be a good time to share them with you too. Here are the main topics that we know about the future of Hunt: Showdown:

Patch 2.5 and 3.0

First of all, the patch 2.5 is now live. this patch will balance the gun fight, fix bugs and most importantly, introduce a new feature which will help the new players. With this new system, new players will be able to play without having the risk of losing their hunters. If you die in a mission, you will go back to the hunter level before the match. You won’t lose any items and you will be able to keep your hunters. You can find the full patch notes on the Steam page. Oh, also, patch 3.0 is on its way and it’s going to be a huge update. If you missed the live stream, you can take a loot at the new stuff planned for the game here (skip ahead to 16 minutes):

Lawson Delta Map

The second good news is that a new map is coming. And I think this is the best thing that we’ve heard so far. The first (and the only) map  is quite big to be honest. It takes a while to get used to the roads, fences, hiding places, rocks, compounds, weak points and strong points of the map. It has been a long time that the Hunt veterans are complaining about map being too old for a game which is live (or rather in Early Access) for more than 8 months. Well, better late than never, right? Here is a teaser trailer fellas:

Cheaper Hunt: Showdown

And the last good news is that you can get Hunt: Showdown on Steam for 22% less than original price. It might be the best time to get the game. As always, I would like to warn you guys that the game is still on Early Access and some features are not complete yet. I have spent more than 500 hours in this game and I think that it deserves my support. If you don’t like Early Access games, you should wait a little bit more. But if you want to support the devs and get a really good game for a cheaper price, you should buy it! And don’t forget that this offer will be available until October 18th. So you should decide soon.

Stay hyped and stay tuned for more!
