CD Projekt RED opens new studio to support Cyberpunk 2077 development

CD Projekt RED’s highly anticipated and long-waited role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 shows signs of life from time to time. Now, there are exciting news about the development of the game.

Previously, we’ve heard that Cyberpunk 2077 may get an E3 2018 trailer. GRYOnline claimed that Cyberpunk 2077 “can be publicly presented later this year, specifically at the E3 fair that starts on June 12th.

Now, CD Projekt RED announced it is opening a new studio in order to support the development of Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt RED Wroclaw is located in Poland and will join forces with CD Projekt RED Warsaw and Cracow.

Wroclaw is one of the biggest and most technologically advanced cities in Poland and a playing field for serious creative talent. I think the scope of our current and future projects, as well as the overall package we’re bringing in, will pull in people who were hesitant to move to Warsaw or Cracow. The founding dev team of CDPR Wroc?aw is already pretty stellar, but I still can’t wait to see what talents we’ll discover in new people along the way.

CD Projekt RED Wroclaw’s Pawel Zawodny stated that the team is strong, and he is sure that they have both the experience and the creative firepower to make Cyberpunk 2077 an even better game.

It is great to hear that Cyberpunk 2077 is making progress and we will be back with more detailed news.

Stay tuned!
