Far Cry 5 4K recommended hardware and system requirements for PC are announced

Well, we were pretty sad when we heard that Far Cry 5 was delayed and it was not going to be out before the end of March. But in any case, some good and some bad news are still coming. One of the news about this new title is kind of neutral on that matter. Ubisoft has released the system requirements of Far Cry 5. Along with that, they have introduced the recommended specs for 4K and 1080p resolutions.

Ok, here is the full list of the system requirements fellas:

*Supported NVIDIA cards at time of release:

  • GeForce GTX600 series: GeForce GTX670 or better
  • GeForce GTX700 series: GeForce GTX760 or better
  • GeForce GTX900 series: GeForce GTX950 or better
  • GeForce GTX10-Series: GeForce GTX1050 or better

**Supported AMD cards at time of release:

  • Radeon 300/Fury X series: Radeon R7 370 or better
  • Radeon 400 series: Radeon RX 460 or better
  • Radeon Vega series: any Radeon Vega series

As you can see, the regular recommended specs of the game is not ‘that’ high if you recently bought a mediocre system. Of course, a GTX 970 is not a cheap card but for a recommended spec, I can easily say that it is way lower than what I expected. Especially if you consider many new games coming with an unbelievable demand on hardware, you can say that Far Cry 5 will probably be a hardware friendly game.

This is, however, possible if we keep talking about the ‘regular’ specs. When it comes to the 1080p and 4K resolutions, things get a little bit of scary. But, in any case, it is good to see that many people will be able to play the game at least on the low graphics options.

The game is expected to be out on March 27th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Until then, sit tight and stay tuned fellas!
