Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed fast and CD Projekt RED being gamer friendly again

Adam Kicinski, CD Projekt Red’s President and Joint CEO, has reecently revealed in an interview with Puls Biznesu that their title, Cyberpunk 2077 was on an important stage. He exclaimed that the game’s engine was ‘up and running’. With the help of Google Translate (Yes, we do not speak Polish unfortunately…) we can understand from the interview the game’s condition is much better at this stage. I personally apologize to our Polish readers for the language barrier I had. Feel free to correct any mistakes or to add what you think about the interview on the comment section down below.

The engine is up and running. Of course it will be further developed. At each of our games we had to develop technology very well and this time it was the same. It must be appropriate for our needs with the specific title and the world we create and match the capabilities of the devices available on the market. Therefore, the engine needs constant updating – its modifications usually take place to a very late stage.

Apparently, everything is going fine for CD Projekt RED regarding their latest title. Unfortunately, Adam Kicinski cannot say anything certain about the release date. Personally, I think it is a bit early for them to be sure about it and it is normal. Especially if you think that they finished a huge and impressive game like The Witcher 3 in five years. Well, we will wait a little bit longer but it’s ok so long as we get another good CD Projekt RED product. On that matter, here is what Kicinski says:

You have to wait patiently for the official announcement. We will not announce the date this year, will we make an announcement next year? I can’t say for certain. Commenting on the speculation market would be unfavorable for us.

CD Projekt RED Being CD Projekt RED

In another news about CD Projekt RED, there has been good announcements from the company. Recently we had covered some news regarding the official statement of Adam Kicinski in an interview with Polish investment site Strefa Inwestorow. In that article, we talked about their future ideas on the online support planned for Cyberpunnk 2077. At first, It sounded like a scary step forward because we know what can that ‘online features’ could mean. But we also stated that we had to wait another announcement from them before we can be sure. And recently, on their official Twitter page, CD Projekt RED has announced that they wanted to keep being ‘gamer friendly’.

As one of the most ‘gamer friendly’ company in the Gaming Industry Hell nowadays, CD Projekt RED wouldn’t surprise us if they keep their promise. As a big fan of their work myself, I have faith in them. But we gamers have responsibility too. Don’t forget that they run a ‘business’. As long as we can keep this balance between gamers and the developers, I’m sure we can get more and more incredible games in the future.

To sum up, at this stage, the only thing we can do is to wait for an official release date announcement. We will keep an eye on this matter. Also, don’t lose hope on the Polish company regarding its promise. Hopefully, in the end, they will make us gamers proud and happy once more.

Stay tuned for more fellas!
