Microtransactions temporarily removed from Star Wars Battlefront 2
Previously, the community criticised Star Wars Battlefront 2’s microtransaction system and EA had to step back, if you can call it a step back and reduced the Hero unlocking credits in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 by 75%.
Was that enough for an apology? Well, community decided that it was not. Now, EA decided to remove Star Wars Battlefront 2’s microtransactions temporarily. After they tweak the progression system, microtransactions will be back. Along with that, EA wants us to know that they are sorry.

Still, it is an effort to satisfy the community. We still don’t know how the changed version of microtransactions will work, yet it is good to know that EA hears us. Now, we will have to sit tight and wait.
