Explosive prison escape mode Half-Life: Caged is now out

And it is freeeee!

Seems like Marc Laidlaw‘s Episode 3 story synopsis of Half-Life 2 started a fire which will not die for a long time. Cayle George who worked Valve, Monolith and Guerilla Games, and was a designer on Portal 2 and Team Fortress 2, and Future Games Select decided to surprise us with a free mode.

Cayle George also worked as a Half-Life modder, so we know that it is in good hands. Half-Life: C.A.G.E.D  is an explosive prison escape adventure inspired by Laidlaw’s Episode 3 story synopsis.

Half-Life: C.A.G.E.D features full single-player campaign, unlock-able bonus content, music from artist Lazerhawk, developer commentary mode and many more.

The mode is now free on Steam if you want to check it out and if you are an admirer of Half-Life like us, you should.
