Destiny 2’s release details and raid launch information are revealed

It’s almost the launch of Destiny 2 and we will have to wait only a couple of hours (for PC, until October 24, sorry!). After that, we will have the opportunity to enjoy this highly anticipated competitive game. But before the release, developers wanted to make sure that everything was in order by revealing a couple of information. None of these informations include any kind of spoiler, so don’t worry. In fact, Bungie intentionally hid a couple of details so as to keep the hype and the ‘mystery’ alive. Not hyped yet? Here is a video for puppy lovers:

Launch Time, Nightfall, Raids and Trials

First thing’s first. Destiny 2 will launch at midnight, all around the world, at exactly 12 AM September 6. But PS4 and Xbox One owners can go ahead and download the game now though it will not be unlocked before September 6. So, wherever you are, you will be able to join the game at midnight. For the US, the servers will be available at midnight ET.

As for the Nightfall, Raids and other events like Trials, they have different time lines. Nightfall will launch with the game, on September 6. But Raids will be available on 10 AM PT on September 13 and the Trials will start on 10 AM PT, September 15.

Lastly, a solo gamer help mechanic ‘Guided Games’, which are still on development, will come out on:

  • Nightfall Guided Games Beta: September 12th, 10AM
    • 30-50% of players will be given seeker access, depending on clan participation in Destiny 2 during the first week.
  • Nightfall and Raid Guided Games: September 26th, 10AM
    • Target: 100% of players will be given seeker access.

Just a couple of hours and we’ll be there fellas. Go ahead and download your game if you pre-ordered it. Otherwise, wait for the midnight.

And stay tuned for more news.
