Destiny 2 first DLC details are leaked and it will take place on Mercury

Destiny 2 is not even here yet. Even though it is still on its beta testing period, details about its first DLC is revealed on Kotaku. Apparently, it will be called ‘The Curse of Osiris’ and it is expected to be out in December. The main article with details about the DLC can be found on the link. For those who don’t have the time to read it, here is the TL;DR version:

According to the article, the main story of the DLC will be about saving Osiris. This character (god?) was mentioned during the first game. However, it stayed as a mentioned character, that’s all. The villain of this story will be the ‘robotic alien’ Vex.

The DLC will also feature a patrol zone on Mercury and a social zone on the Lighthouse. The latter was used as a memorial place for the players with a remarkable score. So that means that Bungie decided to make it a more useful place.

We should also mention that Destiny 1 and its DLC The Dark Below had received a lots of criticism. And according to the article on Kotaku, Activision promised to make a better job for the sequel. But of course, about this DLC, we do not have an official statement yet. Now we only have to wait and see what happens.

Destiny 2 will be available on September 6 for Xbox One and PS4. PC gamers will have to wait until October 24 (sorry mates).

Enjoy the article and stay tuned for more news!
