No Man’s Sky Atlas Rises update adds 30 hours of new story content and more

Are we there yet?

Well, I guess not. No Man’s Sky is still not the game we were hyped for at the very beginning. But, we must give credit where credit is due. No Man’s Sky is a better game today and I can not stop believing in it.

A new update with a cool name, Atlas Rises, is now out for No Man’s Sky. Atlas Rises brings a brand new and overhauled central storyline, portals, a new procedural mission system, trade improvements, system economies, joint exploration and more to the game.

With the update, there comes a mysterious story. A mysterious new interdimensional race has been added to the game. 30 hours of new story content will double the lore, will bring new quest system and branching narrative to No Man’s Sky.

Along with that, a regenerated system adds wealth, economy and conflict levels to star systems. A user-friendly map is now added to the game and you can install galactic technology to be able to filter the map by lifeform, wealth and economy.

New planetary biomes are now available and the variety and visual quality improved. Also, you can now discover and scavenge lost cargo from gigantic crashed Freighters on planetary surfaces.

New Mission Agent will be available in Space Stations and will give you unique and rewarding new tasks. These missions are constantly generated.

The patch notes list goes on and you can read the full list by visiting here. I hope you will be surprised with what you see.

Watch the skies, traveler!
