Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to 2018 but Has New Screenshots

I am dying here.

First, there was a leaked image and we went delirious about it. After that, in October, Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming.

We’ve shared a sequel trailer with you and like you all know, we mistook Wild West Online for Red Dead Redemption 2. Now, Rockstar Games announced that the game has been delayed to spring of 2018.

This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans. We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready.”

To ease the pain, Rockstar Games shared some screenshots of Red Dead Redemption 2. Here, take a look:

We were waiting Red Dead Redemption 2 and Wild West Online to launch at the same time, but since Wild West Online is already a turnoff for PC gamers who are carving for a decent western game, maybe delaying the game is not a bad idea.

Oh, and sadly this new launch date is for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is still not a word about a PC launch but we have high hopes and I am not afraid to place this article under the PC tag.

Enjoy!
