Destiny 2 Has Been Officially Announced

Destiny is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Bungie and published by Activision. In 2014, Destiny was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Now, a full sequel to Destiny, Destiny 2 has been officially announced with a tweet.

You can see The Last City is burning in the background of the logo. Twitter user Nibel has successfully put the artwork of two games together in a gif.

Alright then, enough tweets for a newspiece. Destiny 2 is aiming a Q3 2017 launch for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will feature great cinematic story and relatable characters, they say. There are also rumours about a September 8th release date and beta access for those who pre-order.

There are so many leaks and rumours about Destiny 2, it is painful to dig out the official stuff amongst them. We will be back with more detailed news on Destiny 2. Stay tuned!
