Xbox Free Play Days Makes Five Ubisoft Games Free Through October 4

Xbox Free Play Days is making five Ubisoft games free to try from Thursday, October 1, through Sunday, October 4, 2026. Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull and Bones, and The Crew Motorfest are available to all Xbox members for the event, with no Game Pass subscription required.

Xbox players can find the games through the Free Play Days collection in the Microsoft Store’s Subscriptions section on Xbox consoles. A Microsoft account is required to install them, and platform availability varies by game across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The official Xbox Wire announcement says progress, achievements and Gamerscore earned during the free period will carry over for players who buy a game afterward.
